Online Readers Say Nittolo is NJ's Best QB

Hillsborough player tops in annual reader poll.

Hillsborough High School football QB Rob Nittolo was named New Jersey's best high school quarterback in NJ.com's reader poll.

Nittolo garnered 31,395—26.56 percent—of the 118,203 votes cast in the poll.

The article cited Nittolo's huge out-of-state fan base, with votes coming in from 27 different states. He transferred to Hillsborough from Dwyer High in West Palm Beach, Fla., before the 2013 season.

His season with the Raiders is one for the school's record book: he completed 151-of-309 passes (48.9 percent) for 2,336 yards, 23 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, and ran for 258 yards and four touchdowns.

Nittolo was named a Star-Ledger Top Performer earlier in the year, and is considering offers from several schools.
