In Short

The Raiders did just enough at the plate to squeak out a win, plating two runs on seven hits. Hillsborough left seven runners on base. The Raiders got the scoring started with a solo home run to right-center field by shortstop Alexis Pezza in the third inning, making it 1-0.  The Raiders tacked on another run in the sixth, when a low liner by first baseman Emma Hornich was apparently not caught at short.  It was ruled that it hit the ground and that allowed a run to score.  Starting pitcher Brittany Ksiezopolski went the distance to pick up the victory.
