Rider's Dean's List Includes 21 Hillsborough Students

Rider University's colleges of Business Administration; Continuing Studies; Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences; and Westminster College of the Arts have announced the names of undergraduate students who have been placed on the Dean's List for the spring 2013 semester.

Area Dean's List students are:

The following local residents were named to the Dean's List at Ithaca College for the spring 2013 semester:

Christine Gendimenico, a Communication, Mgmt. & Design major in the class of 2016, was named to Dean's list in Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications for the Spring 2013 semester;

Morgan Gatzmeyer, a Integrated Marketing Communications major in the class of 2016, was named to Dean's list in Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications for the Spring 2013 semester.

 Bryan Carney, a member of the class of 2015 from Hillsborough, has been named to the spring 2013 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland.

 Liya Petrosyan, of Hillsborough, NJ, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, has been named to the honors list for the spring 2013 semester.

Four Hillsborough students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, located in Madison, were named to the dean's and honors lists for the spring 2013 semester: Sean Cutino, Alexa Guaimano, Karen Harvey and Lucila Sparkes.

To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses). To qualify for the Honor's List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).  John Limyansky of Hillsborough, NJ, earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2013 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.
