Raiders fall despite Vangeli's 13-point performance

The girl basketball dropped their second game in a row Thursday evening as they lost to visiting Watchung Hills 41-30.

OVERVIEW

After coming out of the first quarter tied 12-all, poor shooting doomed the Lady Raiders who scored only four points in the second quarter to fall behind 22-16 at the half. The Warriors Hannah Yuhl hit to open 3s early in the second quarter to put the Warriors ahead and the Raiders were playing catchup the rest of the game.

Kristina Vangeli, senior forward–Vangeli led the Raiders with 13 points.

UP NEXT–The Raiders host the Hillsborough Holiday Classic over the Christmas break on Wednesday and Thursday. Their next regular season game is at home Tuesday, Jan. 3, vs. Bridgewater at 7 p.m.
