Paget, Rosenberg to Lead Board Again

The Board of Education's annual reorganization meeting saw familiar faces returning to lead the board.

Camden Road resident Steven Paget will serve as Board of Education president for the third consecutive year, while Dubois Round resident Marc Rosenberg will serve as vice president for a second year.

Both were appointed to the spots during Monday night’s Board of Education meeting, with Judy Haas casting the only dissenting vote in the appointments.  Board member Thuy Anh Le was unable to attend the meeting.

“I just thought that a change would be in order,” Haas said of her vote.  “I am just worried about certain responsibilities that have not been fulfilled.”

In addition, new board members Jennifer Haley and Chris Pulsifer and incumbent Haas were sworn to their three-year terms.

Unlike last year, where the board charged its Special Projects Committee with investigating revenue sources, committees were not given any specific duties during the meeting.
