Students Receive Diplomas at James Madison, Centenary, Drew and Widener

Colleges reporting recent commencement exercises.

Four Hillsborough students graduated from James Madison University during the May 4, 2013 commencement exercises: Irene Beam, Nicolette Minutillo, Meghan O'Reilly and Hayley Biraghi.

Two local students graduated from Centenary College at its 138th May Commencement at the John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center recently, with Heather Sloan receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree, and Robert Sporman receiving a Bachelor of Science degree.

Ebony Foster was among the students participating in Widener Law's recently-held commencement exercises on its campus in Wilmington, Del. The ceremony, held May 18 on the campus lawn featured an address by Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Max Baer.

Foster received her Juris Doctor degree.

Three Hillsborough stduents earned their associate's, bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees from Widener University during the annual Commencement Ceremony on May 18. The university presented degrees to August 2012, December 2012 and May 2013 graduates during the ceremony.

  • Samantha Schurick received a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood education/special education.
  • Jaclyn Tomasetti received a bachelor of social work degree in social work.
  • Sarah Conover received a master of education degree in special education.

Christopher DelMaestro received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University on May 18 at the university's 145th commencement.
