District Sets First Community Partnership Meeting

The Wednesday meeting will focus on the district's Building on Excellence Report and the World Language Program

In its continued commitment to improve District communication efforts and community involvement in our schools, the Community Partnership Network (CPN) will hold a meeting on Wednesday from 7 -9 p.m. in the Cafetorium.

An open and ongoing invitation exists for any citizen who would like to attend the meeting and join this effort. This is the first CPN meeting of the 2011-12 school year.

Open discussions will center around Superintendent Dr. Jorden Schiff’s Building on Excellence Report as well as the district’s World Language Program. This meeting is a great opportunity for all community members to provide input into the role the school district plays in the success of our community.

The CPN functions as a two-way communication vehicle for our district. In order to put together a balanced effort, we are seeking interest from parents from each neighborhood schools, as well as interested community members, teachers, administrators, support staff, and business owners.

Anyone may nominate others or themselves by emailing Dr. Lisa Antunes, assistant superintendent, at lantunes@hillsborough.k12.nj.us or Kia Bergman, community outreach coordinator, at kbergman@hillsborough.k12.nj.us.
