New Parking Restrictions Set for Rine Road

Regulations will be in effect for the beginning of the school year.

New parking regulations along Rine Road will be in effect for the upcoming school year.

The Township Committee on Tuesday night approved an ordinance to prohibit parking on the west side of the road and on the east side of the road 400 feet from Amwell Road.

Permit parking will be allowed on the east side of the road from a point 400 feet from Amwell Road to Wallace Boulevard 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on school days.

Mayor Carl Suraci said Police Chief Paul Kaminsky recommended the ordinance because of people parking on the street to attend sporting events at the high school.
