Police department participates in 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' program.

Driving home from the office party after imbibing too much punch at the office party may be more likely to draw police attention this month, as Hillsborough police work to crackdown on drunk driving.

The township confirmed last week the police are participating in the NJ Division of Highway Safety's "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" year-end statewide crackdown. The program runs from Dec. 7 through Jan. 2, 2013, focused on increased enforcement of drunk driving laws.

New Jersey law defines a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 percent or higher as intoxicated.
