Investigation Into Capricorn Drive Incident Continues

No charges filed in Easter incident.

Hillsborough Police continue to investigate an Easter night assault on Capricorn Drive but have not filed any charges related to the incident, according to a release from the department.

According to the release, police responded to the area of 186 Capricorn Drive Sunday around 10 p.m., for a report of a stabbing. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a Capricorn Drive resident with a large wound on the left side of his head.

The subsequent investigation revealed that the victim was struck with a wooden board outside of the apartment building, police said.  The victim, whose identity, gender and age were not revealed, was transported to Somerset Medical Center by the Hillsborough Rescue Squad.
