Chickens Reported Stolen From Montgomery Road Barn

One of four theft reports made to police in November.

Hillsborough police said a Montgomery Road resident reported a theft on Nov. 14, after someone entered a barn on the property.

According to the report, two chickens—valued at $126—were taken in the incident.

The report was one of four theft reports made in November, including:

  • A report of a burglary at a Millstone River Road house sometime in the few days preceding Nov. 13. The resident reported tools valued at $1,600 were taken in the incident.
  • A Long Hill Road resident reported on Nov. 17 that garden tools valued at $210 had been taken from a garage sometime during the past year.
  • A Rowland Drive resident reported someone entered their vehicle sometime in the few days preceding Nov. 25 and took a GPS unit, valued at $80.
