Flemington Woman Flown to Hospital After Millstone Accident

Three-car accident Wednesday closes Amwell Road for nearly two hours during evening commute.

Flemington resident Erica Molinar, 24, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center by NorthSTAR medivac, after she was extricated from a vehicle involved in a three-car accident on Amwell Road, Wednesday, according to state police.

Police said Molinar was taken to the medical center as a precaution; her injuries were not deemed life-threatening.

The accident occurred at Amwell Road and Somerset Courthouse Road at about 6:30 p.m., involving three cars, the Toyota Cressida Molinar was believed to be driving, a Chrysler Sebring and a Subaru Forester. The drivers of the other vehicles, a woman from North Brunswick and a man from Manville, were not injured in the accident.

The accident closed the road for about an hour and 45 minutes, state police said, as Molinar was extricated from her vehicle. The NorthSTAR transport landed nearby in a field south of the road.

No charges have been filed at this time. Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
