Police Make DWI and Alcohol-Related Arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hillsborough Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police reported charging several people with driving while intoxicated and other alcohol-related charges during May patrols.

A 17-year-old from Far Hills was taken into custody on May 31 for allegedly attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages with a fraudulent driver's license at the Route 206 Bottle King, police said. The juvenile was turned over to the custody of a parent and the matter has been forwarded to the Hillsborough Police Juvenile Bureau for possible charges.

David Gilmore, 52, of Manville, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a two-car crash on the Brown Avenue jug handle on May 23. According to police, Gilmore allegedly obtained breath test results of .17 percent blood alcohol content and was released after also being charged with careless driving.

Fransisco Fernandez Jr., of Bridgewater, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 12:46 a.m. May 22, while driving a black Cadillac on Willow Road. He allegedly obtained breath test results of .15 percent blood alcohol and was released after also being charged with failing to keep right and using a cell phone while driving, according to police.

Trudy Storer, 35, of Bedminster, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a two-car crash on Dukes Parkway East on May 17, police said. Storer was released after also being charged with refusing to submit to breath testing, careless driving and operating while under the influence while having a minor as a passenger.

Gregory Gelman, 24, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 11:52 p.m. May 1, while operating a black Nissan on Amwell Road. He allegedly obtained breath test results of .10 percent blood alcohol and was released after processing, police said.
