A dryer fire in an Amwell Road residence had Hillsborough Police close Amwell Road near Murray Drive for about 20 minutes Wednesday.
The fire caused no injuries or major damages, since it was a minor incident, Fire Marshall John Yanko said.
"Their fire alarm system detected it and they called the fire companies," he said. "It was a small fire in the front of the dryer."

Emergency responders included the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Companies No. 1, 2 and 3, the Hillsborough Township Fire Marshall's Office, the Hillsborough Township Rescue Squad, the Hillsborough Township Construction Office and the Hillsborough Police Department.
