Car Burglaries Reported at Residence, Business

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hillsborough Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Several car burglaries, including three at a local business and one at a residence, have the Hillsborough Police warning residents to remove valuables from vehicles and to lock them

 

A Route 206 business owner reported that three vehicles parked in the business’ lot were broken into during the overnight hours on Oct. 5. $1,891 worth of car components and stereo equipment were stolen from all three vehicles.

A Pembroke Terrace resident reported that a vehicle parked in the homes’ driveway was entered during the overnight hours on Oct. 11. $800 worth of electronics equipment was reported stolen.

Ashley Ruhl, 28, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated after allegedly becoming involved in a two-car crash on Dukes Parkway on Oct. 25. Ruhl allegedly obtained breath test results of .11 percent blood alcohol and was released after also being charged with careless driving and failing to produce a valid insurance card. 

The owner of a Weston Road property reported that the building was entered and copper plumbing pip was cute and removed from the walls on Oct. 22. The Hillsborough Police detective bureau is continuing the investigation.

Sean Vance, 28, of Hillsborough, was charged for driving while intoxication when an officer allegedly located him parked in a silver Dodge on South Triangle Road on Oct. 20. Vance was released after processing and the matter is pending a blod analysis.

Richard Stolte, 33, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated while allegedly driving a white Toyota on Millstone River Road on Oct. 16. Stolte was released after also being charged with speeding and refusing to submit to breath testing.
