For Preschool, School-aged and Teen Summer Reading Clubs stop by the Children’s Services desk to sign up. We are once again offering a Preschool Summer Reading Club for birth through age 4. Sign up your preschool child and continue them on the road to reading.  The School-Aged Club is for kids entering grades K – 5. The Teen Club is for teens entering grades 6-12. Each club member will receive reading logs to keep track of reading and instructions that tell about the many ways to win prizes. Throughout the summer there are a variety of contests including weekly trivia questions and “Find Buddy”. The Heyns Study stated that “the number of books read during the summer is consistently related to academic gains.” Sign up and fuel your brain by reading all summer long!
