Dukes Cheerleaders Compete in Conference Cheer Competitions

The Hillsborough Dukes cheerleaders participated in their Conference cheer competition, which was held in Trenton at the sun Bank Arena.

The day started out with exhibition performances from their Flag and Mitey Mite teams. Flag cheer performed exceptionally well and impressed their fans.  The Mitey Mite cheer squad performed at the newly allowed Intermediate level at this exhibition. This permitted them to perform multiple back handsprings and more advanced stunting.  Their abilities clearly placed them at the top of their class.  The afternoon sessions continued with competition performances from both the Jr. Pee Wee squad and the junior midget squad. Both routines were performed  almost flawlessly!  Both the Junior peewee and the junior midget teams were named champions in their division.

Up next Mitey Mite team will be exhibiting at the Bash at the Beach in Wildwood. Both Jr. Pee Wee and Junior midget will advance to the Jersey State competition To compete for the state championship title. Then they will be competing at the Eastern region finals in a bid to make it to the national competition in Walt Disney World.
