UPDATE: Fire Departments Rescue Four From Dukes Parkway East

Two more people declined rescue, officials say.

Hillsborough Township Fire Company No. 2 reported rescuing two teenagers and two adults from a house on Dukes Parkway East ON Sunday because of high water.

The call to emergency services came in around 11:30 a.m., with a report of water up to the house's deck, Police Chief Paul Kaminsky said. While the residents reported needing assistance, they reported no urgent medical care was needed, he added.

"No emergency or urgent care is needed at this time," Kaminsky said. "We are assessing the situation."

According to Incident Commander Bruce Vatter, two other residents at the scene declined rescue. The other four were transported off scene via fire department boat.
