Small Business Expo Coming to Library

New businesses can showcase their services, products free, as well as learn about building their new business.

Residents with small businesses—or those thinking about starting one—will want to check out the upcoming "Oktober Small Business Expo," at the Hillsborough Library.

Scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12, the expo will include help for business owners from such groups as SCORE, the Hillsborough Economic and Business Development Commission, NJ Business Action Center and the  Somerset County Business Partnership. Hillsborough Business Advocate Gene Strupinski will also be on hand to help answer questions.

Plus, new small businesses in Hillsborough can introduce themselves to the community with a promotional booth at the expo, offered courtesy of the library. If you would like to participate, contact Cathy Briant, Head of Adult Services, at 908-369-2200 Ext. 16, by Sept. 28.

Other sponsors and participants will include Affinity Federal Credit Union, The Intersect Fund, Simply Talk Media Pheasant’s Landing, and Administrative Services and Consulting, LLC.

To register, stop by the Adult Services Desk at the library, or call by 908-369-2200, ext. 12. Registration online can also be found on the library's website
