Here’s what’s happening this weekend:
Drop-in Game Week
What/When: Friday, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Bridgewater Township Library
Why Go: Because you know it is no fun to spend a week off from school sitting in the house, so it's better to head over to the library to play board games like Scrabble, Chutes and Ladders, Connect Four, and more.
Cost: Free

When/Where: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. at .
Why Go: What is better than bringing in the New Year with close friends and close to home? You’ll celebrate the New Year while also helping out one of Hillsborough’s volunteer fire companies. The event is ages 21-plus, and includes a buffet dinner, dancing, open bar, and a champagne toast at midnight.

Murder Mystery Dinner
What/When: Saturday from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at Maggiano's Little Italy in Bridgewater
Why Go: To celebrate the end of 2011 in style with a little food, a little drink, a little murder—what's better than solving a mystery at the end of the year?
Cost: $125 per person

New Year’s Eve at Maestro 206
When/Where: Saturday, 9 p.m. at .
Why Go: Dress to impress and ring in the 2012 with music, food, drinks and a midnight champagne toast.
Cost: $80 if you reserve advance tickets at visionnye.eventbrite.com, or $100 cash-only at the door.

Why Go: Because pancakes are the perfect cure for a night of too much partying.
Cost: $6 for adults; $4 for children under 12.
