This Mother's Day weekend, Mrs. Woods followed her annual tradition of making the courtyard at Woods Road Elementary in Hillsborough her temporary home.
Every year the mother duck nests, lays her eggs, and raises her ducklings until they're old enough to follow her through the halls of the elementary school, out the front entrance and into the world.
This year, Woods Road Elementary School documented the duckling's journey and dedicated this video to their 2014 graduating class.
