'Last Newspaperman' Author Coming to Library

Mark DiIonno will talk about how tabloid journalism started with a Sourland Mountain resident.

Meet Mark DiIonno, author of "The Last Newspaperman," for a thought-provoking talk about the role of the media and how reporting has become the crime saturated and celebrity obsessed media we have today.

Learn about some fascinating real life events that took place in New Jersey in the 1920s and 1930s which led to the birth of tabloid journalism, and how Charles Lindbergh became the first "celebrity" to be hounded by the press.

DiIonno will speak at the library at 7 p.m. Oct. 3.
