According to a study released by National Bureau of Economic Research that ranked the most 'unhappy' cities across the United States, it was found that Somerset County along with Middlesex and Hunterdon ranked tenth among the happiest metropolitan areas that have a population than 1 million.
The results were based on a survey that measured the participants satisfaction with life and their willingness to exchange a higher level of happiness for better pay or lower housing costs.
