Hillsborough Resident Competes at 2014 Transplant Games of America

Heart transplant recipient, Joe DiSanto of Hillsborough, participates in a basketball game at the Transplant Games of America. The games took place recently in Houston. Joe competed as a part of Team Liberty, a program of NJ Sharing Network. The team comes together at the Transplant Games of America, and all year round, to promote the success of organ transplantation, and to raise awareness for the urgent need of organ and tissue donation. Nearly 5000 people in New Jersey are awaiting life-saving organs.
