The sun's just setting on Ann Van Park, where hundreds of residents are making the most of the day at the township-sponsored camp out.
Families set up tents, then took to the many activities offered: there's fishing at the pond, basketball and playground fun--and a movie slated for later on a large inflatable screen.
With food cooked up by Park and Rec Director Rich Resavy, and frozen treats, there is also plenty of food and refreshments.
Resavy said he was happy to see so many families show up for the low-cost event.
"We try to put something nice together so it's good to see so many families," he said.
