Gov. Christie Slow Jams the News on Fallon

The governor follows in the comedic footsteps of his on-again, off-again buddy Barack Obama.

Gov. Chris Christie appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night to break down his decision to “let the people vote” in a special election for Frank Lautenberg’s senate seat. As The Roots laid down a smooth R&B beat, the governor mostly played the straight man to Fallon. Christie “slow jammed” his talking points about the special election and dodged questions about whether he’d announce a run for president. New Jersey's governor is giving his State of the State address today, outlining his goals for 2012.

Governor Chris Christie delivered his "State of the State Address" to the 215th Session of the Legislature and New Jersey residents at 3 p.m. Tuesday. In his address, Christie outlined his goals for the coming year and what he has accomplished his first two years in office.
