Scott Rocco will become superintendent in Spotswood on Jan. 1.
Assistant Superintendent of Schools Scott Rocco is leaving the Hillsborough school district to become the superintendent of Spotswood Public Schools. Rocco, who began his service as a teacher in Hillsborough in 1994, will start his new job on Jan. 1. “Scott has always done amazing things no matter what his role was,” Board of Education member Christopher Pulsifer said at Monday's meeting. Superintendent of Schools Jorden Schiff said Rocco served the school district “with distinction” and his resignation was accepted “with a great deal of regret.” Rocco was the assistant superintendent for human resources.
