Another option may soon be coming to town.

If there's one thing you know from living in Hillsborough, it's that there are a lot of pizza places. And, according to a sign on the former Hillsboro Pharmacy location, we're getting one more—as of Sunday afternoon, when I drove by that area, there's a "Pizza Hut! Coming Soon" sign adorning the window. Since the sign spotting (I spared you all an Ace of Base pun) occured on Sunday, it's not been confirmed with the Pizza Hut franchise or with the township. so im a little late to respond, but aware of sahara. that place is delicious! great food there each time we've been. a bit on the $$$ for what it is, really; but worth it every so often. imo, yaya noodles next door has the best tasting chinese food in the area, as well. that and shop-rite montgomery makes for a much nice shopping experience than the one in hillsborough...the used book store in …   more ›

Charlie Brown's Restaurant Location Closes

Company later files for bankruptcy protection.

The windows at Charlie Brown's Steakhouse are dark, the doors locked, and a simple sign directs patrons to another location, after CB Holding Corp closed 29 of the restaurants in November, including the Hillsborough steakhouse on Route 206. The Mountainside Creek restaurant corporation, which also owns Bugaboo Creek Steak House and the Office Beer Bar & Grill restaurants, filed voluntary petitions for bankruptcy protections under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code, according to a release from the company. The filing came days after it announced 13 Charlie Brown's locations would close, including locations in Montclair, Kingston, Union, Piscataway, Green Brook and Highland Park.
