Resolution Run Draws Hundreds on New Year's Day
Hillsborough's 12th annual event a popular start to the new year.
The annual Resolution Run 5K drew a crowd of 513 of runners and walkers for the 12th annual fundraising event. With warm temperatures (for New Year's Day) but cloudy skies, Run participants made the circuit around the municipal complex and adjoining neighborhoods to help support several local charitable groups and the Hillsborough High School Class of 2014's Project Graduation. A portion of the race proceeds will help support Carol's Cats, Greyhound Friends and CAP Rescue of Hillsborough. Hillsborough resident Brain Crowley, 48, set the pace, finishing in 16:43.61, to claim the overall first prize.
