A Mountain View Road father, son and daughter have been indicted on aggravated assault charges in connection with an alleged confrontation in May when police said they punched and wrestled with officers. George Teeple, 68, Danielle Teeple, 31, and Kevin Teeple, 36, are scheduled to appear before Superior Court Judge Paul Armstrong at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 7 for an arraignment and status conference on third-degree aggravated assault charges. The family members were indicted by a Somerset County Grand Jury on July 26. Presenting the case for the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office is Assistant Prosecutor Robert Hawkes. This week's incident was not the first time one member of the Mountain View Road family accused of beating and wrestling with police resisted arrest, according to court documents. George Teeple, 67, Kevin Teeple, 35, and Danielle Teeple, will each be arraigned May 25 in Superior Court on multiple charges stemming from Monday morning's alleged altercation with police outside their home. The Teeples, who have each been released on bail, will appear before Superior Court Paul Armstrong where they will enter pleas and be advised of their right to have an attorney. Mountain View Road residents tried to resist arrest Monday morning outside their home.
A father and his two children punched and wrestled Hillsborough Police officers and one kicked out a patrol car's window as they attempted to avoid being arrested Monday morning outside their Mountain View Road home, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said. George Teeple, 67, Kevin Teeple, 35, and Danielle Teeple, 30, were each charged with third-degree aggravated assault and obstruction of justice. George Teeple was also charged with third-degree resisting arrest and Danielle Teeple was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree attempted escape. Teeple's hired three of the best criminal attorneys around " the Dream Team" . Must be nice to have the money to afford these guys. Why not give it to the cop they hurt and help him out.
