facts not entered in johns blog : 1) crime statistics in the towns currently hosting OTW are muchRead More higher than our town, but despite their elevated figures, their OTW locations have had no reports of illegal activity, just minor alchohol related incidents, a burglary, and a fight, for all of the locations in total. 2) PILOT - Darby was under no obligation but the town suggested that it would be in their interest for them to do so in order to demonstrate their committment to be good neighbors in town , they could have opted to pay zero! Just a small fact you left out. 3) The Park!!! its a ball field and for years we had mercury stored there, we have transfer station there, and two bars there for a period of five years - sorry , i just dont see how that matters ! 4) Traffic - Darby will pay the police to secure vehicular congestion due to special events , so as not to tax the police department budget; and will not cost the town anymore than if this was a Chile's and its bar crowd. 5) McLoones is a tenant of the building and as such is hiring locally, and has been inundated with applicants, who have been contacted for positions to fill in a restaraunt. Darby has special needs for hiring , experience that they must find to meet certain benchmark standazrds set by the State; they know where to go to hire. DUH! 6) Last for now, but not least, is the fact that Darby based on analysis for on line wagering on horse racing, discoverd that over 7 Million dollars has been wagered a year within a 10 mile radius of hillsborough... WOW ? REALLY, i can not believe in a family town like ours that gambling is going on. sorry for the humorous sarcasm, i just cant help myself , especially when i debate pontificating do gooders who always no better and spout nonsence and hysteria and fear, lieing to get there way, only to support the latest and greatest in NIMBY delight!!! Oh the 50 people who will work will probably be a mix of young and older , experienced and less experienced who will find training, learn skills and work in a team apmostphere, in between semesters, or maybe while going to school , and move on and new hires will take their place. EXCELLENT DUDE! Tired... more to come later.

Gee ... The unofficial Democratic Candidates are stating lies twisting the situation to make the allRead More Republican Township Committee look bad. What, no ...really...Tell me it isn't so !!!!!! This time you out did yourselves. You state, "Township Committee members have made it abundantly clear that they would not do anything at this time." If that is true, what exactly did you, as unofficial Democratic candidates, attend last night ? Were your eyes and ears open? Did you look around you? You were there with 120 other interested people. Isn't that doing something ????? As you should have learned last night, the Township Committee asked our State legislators to work on getting the Township "Home rule " re-established; which, if you weren't so busy drafting your fictional blog in your head at the time, they are doing in a proposed bill and you would have known that if you listened to Assemblymen Ciattarelli. For those that can count, that's actually at least two things the Township is doing. Certainly this qualifies as doing something. Right? By the way, where were the other 1080 petitioners ? Instead of puking out untruths, why not suggest to that big bad township committee that you want so much to really be a part of, perish the thought, what to do. Obviously, you could not have been listening or read the law - because, to the educated observer, it is obvious the Township Committee is doing all they can. After attending the forum last night - THANK YOU Township Committee for the information and the effort. KUDOS to Dispatch and Sammy

John B has to be a lib because he thinks backwards. If this guy intentionally refilled his sodas atRead More regular intervals, then fine, make him pay a reasonable penalty, which is perfectly justified if he did do something wrong. But, JB is defending a KGB-style operation, here. This is what the Bush and Obama (and quite possibly, Clinton) administrations got into motion. And, of course Obama is taking it to the max. Our entire government needs to be completely cleaned out, reduced in size and replenished with real people - not the Muppets!
