Absolutely one of the best experiences a child could hope for . they teach the most important of all needed lessons. emotional intelligence! nobody is doing that. and perhaps if massoka had had that training early on he would know that his personal feud with his ex is not fodder for the school.

908-255-4247
Featuring a curriculum written by the school's Educational Director, Maggie Buley, the Stellar Academy has students switching classrooms to learn different subjects during the day. Subjects include language and literacy skills, science skills, math and logic skills, music skills, social skills, and physical education skills. Sessions in each subject—which the school divides into zones—begin with a lesson and an activity reinforcing the lesson follows. Free play ends the session, and students move to the next zone. The school meets year-round and provides some scholarships for students.

Stellar Academy should have been around when I was a kid! It has been nothing but a fantastic experience! The teachers are loving, nurturing and knowledgeable. I'm always getting pictures sent home and the art projects have become my home decor.
I am so proud to send my children to a school that is run by loving people that actually care about the children in their school. The owner is always so approachable and has openly welcomed me in her office to get suggestions on things I could implement at home. Her workshops alone are worth sending your children there!
Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work and making my children feel like they are at home. Thank you Dr Maggie, for this amazing environment. You have been a blessing!
My experience with this school has been mostly negative due to the pretentious nature of the owner as well as the curriculum. They appear to have a circle of advocates that will undoubtedly go online to dispute this review, but it has appeared that children have gotten very little outside play time (I'm not talking days of temperature extremes either), the owner claims to be ignorant of laws regarding equal treatment for BOTH parents when child is in dual households, but this does not excuse flat out denial of open access to records, withholding specific information concerning a recent number of cases of LICE within the past several weeks apparently surfacing in one classroom (not sure when-they won't tell me-even though my child goes there). They have sided with the parent with primary residential custody even when there is JOINT legal custody, and some staff has worked to further instigate by treating my child as if they have ownership. Other staff has been nice, helpful and forthcoming, but it only takes one, especially when your child is exposed to the influential individuals daily...and you are not. To add insult to injury, ("Dr.") Maggie has the gall to be sarcastic in emails (something subject to legal review and consideration these days). Pure disrespect. If you have similar experiences, I'd like to speak with you. masoka1 at yahoo dot com. Please Email me. There's more and enough is enough!
Extremely pretentious, cult-like and biased!

Stellar Academy has the best teachers around! The office staff and owner on the hand.... not so great. The office is such a cold and awkward place to be. They don't speak unless spoken to and are extremely unfriendly. They only want the tuition money to pay themselves and don't truly care about you or your child. Without the teachers being so caring, this place would fail miserably.
