Desi's used to have great pizza, and yes it is baked in a brick,wood fired oven. Recently it has gone down hill though, perhaps due to a change in ownership. They also lost their previous wait staff and the kids they hired have no clue. Pizza not much better than Domino's or PH.

Recently took my Aunt & Uncle visiting from out of state so they could try NJ thin crust pizza, and we had a great experience. Service was attentive & the fresh made thin crust pizza was absolutely wonderful. We had a margarita pizza and a Fiorentino pizza. The latter was my favorite. If you go in & get a ready made slice you are totally missing out, order the pizza fresh & you'll love it.
