I'm utterly shocked that people had a bad experience here and can only chalk it up to an anomaly. This place is 5+ stars. The food is absolutely excellent, especially their Specials. We've lived in the area for 7+ years and have been here numerous times. The staff was always kind and I've never encountered any rudeness. One night when we were there late and were the last ones there, the owners actually invited our entire table over to hang out with them and we ended up getting some free food and drinks!

We go here frequently and have had events held here several times. The food is very good and "bring your own" allows you to have a nicer meal at a decent price. The staff treats you with respect, while not HOVERING over you. When it comes to being attentive, I don't like it when staff interrupts conversation, asking how things are every three minutes...we are allowed to enjoy our evening. If we need anything, the place is so small/intimate, you simply ask and it arrives between the servers and bus staff. I do find many regulars when we go and as I think of it, I guess we are considered regulars too. What I find is if you go out often...you relax. You can relax here...and the food is very good, especially compared to other options in Hillsborough.
i have to agree with being treated aweful here! Food was ok (just ok) but my whole experience was ruined by the rude staff!!!
Cafe Graziella is one of my favorite places to go. The food is always excellent and the service is always spectacular. There are always friendly faces greeting us when we walk in. They are very attentive throughout the meal. Plus, it's a bring your own so you can't go wrong. I would reccommend dining there!
Terrible is being kind...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.........Our recommendation is find another restaurant. I'd go hungry before ever eating here again. Treated with disrespect from beginning to end, with only a veiled apology. Seated at large circular table too big for the limited space near the service doorway. Bumped by wait staff and risked having food spilt on us as they mostly raced past us. Management c(w)ould not change the location. the level of inattentiveness and rudeness was off the scale. No effort to take a drink order, even after two of the party asked for sodas. Then the two hour wait for our main meal....being told several times by the room captain and lead waiter "its coming" its coming".... Only because we were guests did we not leave. Some tables of comparable party size were seated 20-30 minutes after us and were served before we ever saw a crumb of food. After yelling at our host as he tried to get them to bring our food, eventually Management did come over and apologize and offer dessert on the house. Expecting to place a dessert order for each person and be asked about coffee and tea, but no... three desserts were delivered to the table without forks. A fourth had to be requested. No tea or coffee orders taken. The only service handled efficiently was the processing of the bill. The rating scale here doesn't go low enough.......

We haven't been to Graziella's in years not only because of the rude and bad service, we put up with that because the food, initially, was very good. But then that went down hill so we stopped going altogether. I can see from The review posted in May of last year that nothing has changed. Too bad because Hillsborough could use a good restaurant... what is it about Hillsborough that good restaurants don't last or don't open?
