Township's Christmas Tree Lighting Launches Local Holiday Events
Hundreds will join the festivities at Friday's tree lighting event.
The township's annual tree lighting event is more than a kick-off to the Christmas season—it's a community event that brings together hundreds of families for a fun night celebrating the season.
This year's event at the municipal complex will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, and offers the usual fun—from hot chocolate and warm music (courtesy of Hillsborough High School students), to the beautiful Santa walk and petting zoo—the event is a seasonal highlight in Hillsborough.
And when Santa arrives on the back of a Hillsborough fire truck, the kids' smiles and excitement warms the coldest heart.
