Temple 'Crew' Readies 4H-ers Falafel

Temple Beth-El fundraising project will feature a family's secret recipe and other treats at the upcoming 4H Fair.

A group of volunteers from Temple Beth-El in Hillsborough met to prepare falafel for the Somerset County 4H Fair.

The secret recipe for the falafel was shared by Sabi Bivas, whose family originated the recipe and evolved it over the years.  The basic ingredients include chickpeas, bread crumbs, onions—and a special blend of spices.
