Over the long Thanksgiving weekend, a local 19U field hockey team, Total Dutch Orange, competed in the nation’s largest showcase just outside West Palm Beach, Fla., with help from Hillsborough's Lauren Belskie.

Total Dutch played six games in three days against teams from Pennsylvania, Maryland, California and Canada.

While competing in the tournament’s top bracket, the team returned with a gold medal, and an overall record of 5-0-1. In the opener, Total Dutch beat a 19U Elite team from Vancouver, Canada, by a score of 2-1.
