Frank Mitchell Named Conference's Player of the Week
Honor follows his 1,000 career point at Ithaca.
Frank Mitchell, a senior at Ithaca College, was named Empire 8 Player of the Week announced Monday.
Mitchell scored 19 points in the Bombers' game against Skidmore last week, giving him 1,015 points in his career. Mitchell is the 24th player in the history of the program to score 1,000 points, and the first since Sean Rossi (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) accomplished the feat last season.
Mitchell also added five steals and two assists. He has scored in double figures seven times this season and has recorded three double-doubles.
