Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day with the Somerset Patriots
Bridgewater, NJ- The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced that they have teamed up with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to host a night of fundraising and awareness at TD Bank Ballpark on Sunday, July 17th for their 5:05 pm game against the Camden Riversharks. Tickets are $10 apiece and part of the proceeds go towards the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States, yet receives less least amount of funding among leading cancer killers. Over 42,000 Americans were diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2009 and over 35,000 died.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will be selling tickets to the event, with the proceeds benefitting their organization and its efforts in advancing research, supporting patients, and creating hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer. Throughout the game fans will be able to visit their information table to learn more about the disease and find out how they can help.
