24TH Annual Alzheimer's Association Polo Classic

New Jersey's Original Charity Polo Event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at Hillsborough Country Club. The event will include two teams of champion polo players and strings of gorgeous polo ponies, lush green competition polo field spanning 10 acres, billowing white fieldside guest tents, backdrop of beautiful mountains from atop knoll, Amwell Valley Hunt hounds half-time show with red dress colors, beautifully outfitted tailgaters, eye-catching antique and classic car parade leading into ceremonial ball toss, half-time divot-stomping with signage, colorful hot air balloon launch (weather-permitting), multi-colored trackless train carrying guests around perimeter of the field, a populated Children's Village offering NJ Devils Slap Shot Booth, costumed stilt-walkers, Keona Farms pony rides and more. Seasoned polo players, nationally ranked polo player and polo team organizer Steven Garfield, WCBS-TV meteorologist Elise Finch (personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease), newly-crowned Mrs. New Jersey International 2011 Danielle Micale (pageant platform is Alzheimer’s disease), Event Chairman Frank Ciriello of Eisai Inc., Alzheimer's Association President and CEO Patricia Lombreglia will be in attendance.
