Four other Hillsborough teams earn wins on Thursday.

Four of the five Hillsborough teams competing on Thursday walked away with wins as the girls field hockey team was the only club unable to solve Bridgewater-Raritan.

Jenelle Buckle had 14 kills and 10 digs to help the Hillsborough girls volleyball team pick up win No. 1 in 2011, with a 2-1 win over Bridgewater-Raritan, according to NJ.com. Katie Moore had 30 assists for Hillsborough (1-7) in the win.

Field Hockey Falls

Catherine Caro and Kayla Sullivan finished with two goals each as the Bridgewater-Raritan field hockey team crushed Hillsborough, 7-0, according to NJ.com. Hillsborough falls to 6-6 with the loss.

Football Stops Ridge

John Banaciski scored two touchdowns to help the Hillsborough football team improve to 3-2 on Thursday night with a 27-3 win over Ridge, according to NJ.com. Ridge falls to 1-4 with the loss.

Boys, Girls Soccer Stop Watchung Hills

Nigel Herbert scored the game-winner in the 66th minute to help the Hillsborough boys soccer team stop Watchung Hills, 3-1, according to NJ.com.

Jessica Soldiviero had two goals and three assists to help Watchung Hills past Hillsborough, 6-0, according to NJ.com. Goalie Meghan Kovac had seven saves in the win.
