Prepare to Register Teens for Xtreme Adventure this Summer

The Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center has scheduled a unique summer program series for teens age 13 to 16.

“Xtreme Adventure” is a summer-long series of one-day outdoor programs (with one overnight scheduled) that will entertain and educate teen girls and boys. All “Xtreme Adventures” begin at the Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road in Basking Ridge, NJ – 908-766-2489.
Every trip will challenge teens as they participate in an unforgettable adventure with Naturalists leading them through a series of exciting, educational, and enjoyable day trips. Trips include white water rafting, stand-up paddling, hiking, swimming, kayaking, and rock climbing.
Day trip dates are scheduled for Tuesday July 1; Wednesday, July 9; Tuesday, July 15; Tuesday, July 22; Tuesday, July 29; Thursday, July 31; Tuesday, and August 5. The overnight is scheduled for departure on Tuesday, August 12.
Registration will be accepted for individual dates and will open online and in person at the Environmental Education Center at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Prices will vary from $25 to $200 per person per trip.
