The Pro/Celebrity Tournament has raised nearly $1,000,000 for the Somerset County Park Foundation, supporting a variety of Park Commission programs with a majority of funding dedicated to the Therapeutic Recreation Department. Scholarships to Camp Okee Sunokee, a six-week summer day camp structured for children ages 6 through 13 who are classified with a learning disability or Asperger Syndrome, has historically been a primary beneficiary of the outing. Funds are also applied to park and recreation projects that may not otherwise be possible to fund without the support of the Pro-Celebrity event.

“The Pro/Celebrity tournament grows every year, attracting more professional athletes and more community members and business people who enjoy a totally unique golfing experience on an exceptional golf course,” stated Park Foundation Trustee and Event Chairman John Kitchen. “It’s a great day at a world-class golf course where you can meet and play golf with world-class professional athletes.”
