CUPS Frozen Yogurt Opens in Hillsborough

Customers check out samples during Saturday's ribbon-cutting event.

The CUPS Frozen Yogurt shop opened in Hillsborough Saturday, with owners Jiten and Virag Patel joining Mayor Frank DelCore in marking the official business opening.

CUPS opened in the Hillsborough Centre shopping center, anchored by the Stop and Shop grocery store, in space formerly occupied by Blockbuster Video.

The store offers 24 flavors of frozen yogurt and more than 50 toppings. During the grand opening week, each customer of the new store will be given a “scratch off” card for prizes such as iPhone covers, blankets, pens, glow-in-the-dark wristbands and CUPS coupons. One lucky winner will receive free "fro-yo" for a year.

CUPS will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
