Woodfern Students Welcome Black Hawk Helicopter
Flag Day celebration includes packing bags for troops and a special presentation.
students received a thrill on Thursday during their Flag Day celebration.
A Black Hawk helicopter came to the school to pay everyone a visit. The images above show the copter approaching and landing.
Diane Movshin also presented the school with an American flag that her husband, Maj. Rob Movshin, had flown over Kandahar Air Force Base in Afghanstan. The couple has two sons that attend the school.

Each student also packed bags to be sent to service members overseas. The Woodfern HSA, along with Operation Jersey Cares and Rolling Thunder, sponsored Thursday's packing day. Donations have been collected for the past few months in anticipation of the day.
