Sunnymead Kids' Clever Song Makes School Board Laugh

Sweet fourth graders croon about the importance of commas to the tune of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The Board of Education got a special treat on Feb. 10 when students from the Sunnymead School impressively sang in Mandarin to celebrate the tenth day of Chinese New Year, and a rendition of Happy Birthday as a special surprise for someone special. But their third song brought lots of laughter, because the fourth graders put the elements of grammar to the tune of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." [Skip ahead to 19:54 to watch it.]

Instead of wailing "Mama, ooo," the students soulfully crooned "Comma, ooo, I need to learn the rules, or else my teacher will be rather cruel..."

The Freddie Mercury fans in the house got it.
