University of Delaware Puts 22 from Hillsborough on Dean's Lists

Schools reporting fall semester achievements.

Twenty-two Hillsborough students have been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for fall 2012.

Those students are Samantha Altholtz, Briana Basilone, Katie Bonanno, Lauren Bonanno, Neil Brandwein, Jenelle Buckle, Haley Cohen, Lauren DeCasperis, Meghan Doyle, Jeffrey Dyer, Julie Figard, Brielle Gerry, Marina Grappone, Amanda Hansen, Jennifer Mitchell, Stephanie Nunes, Christopher Nunn, Danica Price, Nicole Rittman, Andrew Schaaf, Kyle Yurcisin and Veronica Zuccarello.

To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above for the semester.

Three Hillsborough students were named to the dean's list for the fall 2012 semester at Widener University in Chester, Pa.:

  • Samantha Schurick, a early years/special education major; 
  • Kevin Scisorek, a biology major;
  • Jaclyn Tomasetti, a social work major.

Two Hillsborough students at Johnson and Wales University, in Charlotte, N.C., were named to the dean's list.

Kyle Burke, a freshman, is studying Finance and Accounting at the College of Business. Jenna Neall, a freshman, is studying Event Management at JWU.

Thomas Pepitone and Marissa Sprofera, of Hillsborough, both music education students at Chestnut Hill College, were named to the school's dean's list for the fall 2012 semester.

Two Hillsborough students were among the approximately 1,800 students from Coastal Carolina University who made the fall 2012 Dean's List:

  • Erin E. Manning, a Recreation and Sport Management major of Hillsborough.
  • Lexie M. Ballah, a Elementary Education major of Hillsborough.

Simone Rudich, of Hillsborough, has been named to Gwynedd-Mercy College's fall 2012 dean's list. This recognizes one of the highest forms of academic excellence within a specific area of study.
