STEM Summit Convenes at ARIS [Video]

Saturday's event included workshops, competitions and a lot of imagination.

About 300 students participated in the annual STEM Summit, held at Auten Road Intermediate School on Saturday. The day's program included a number of workshops for the students to participate in, as well as egg drop, paper airplane and bridge building challenges.

In the video, organizer Gizella Szegedy explains the origins of the summit and how the program ties in to the school's science and math curriculum, which also includes engineering and technology.
