Sixth-Grade Singers Entertain at Board Meeting [Video]

Students demonstrate skills learned in projection, duple and triple meter music.

A group of Auten Road Intermediate School students performed "T-E-A-M," from the Broadway musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" at Monday's Board of Education meeting, showcasing the skills learned preparing for a musical presentation.

According to ARIS music teacher Deborah Kurisko, the students learned six songs to perform.

"In this particular songs, one of the elements we learn about music is the difference between duple and triple meter," she said, introducing the students.
