Hillsborough Students Earn Honors on Campus

Dean's list announcements from Quinnipiac, James Madison, Centenary, St. Lawrence, SUNY Oneonta and Stevens Institute.

Five Hillsborough residents were named to the the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the Spring 2013 semester: Jessica Farraye, Carolyn Kolb, Crystal Komoroski, Erica Reiss and Marissa Sbrilli.

Hillsborough students Vanessa Burshnic, Nicolette Minutillo, Erica Wise, Alexis Cavallo and Alexandra Wysocki made the dean's list at James Madison University for the spring 2013 semester.

Jessica Nunn from Hillsborough was named on the Dean's List at Centenary College for coursework that was completed for the Spring 2013 semester.

Marc Malecki (HHS 2008) remained on the Dean's List throughout college and was again on the list this past Spring Semester at Stevens Institute of Technology with a 3.4 GPA. Malecki graduated this past May 2013 with High Honors and is presently doing an internship at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York.

Laura M. Rodriguez has been selected for inclusion on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the spring semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. To be eligible for the Dean's List at St. Lawrence University, a student must have completed at least four semester units and have an academic average of 3.6 (based on a perfect 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Rodriguez is a member of the class of 2014, and majors in English. Rodriguez graduated from Hillsborough High School.

Erin Cascio and Andrew Messina are among the 1,528 students who earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2013 semester at SUNY Oneonta. To qualify for the Dean's List, undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more.
